The NEIU Libraries apologizes for any inconvenience, but the CCICS Library will be closed from Monday, August 15 through Sunday, August 21.
Online services will remain available 24 hours a day, with chat help also available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Regular Library building hours resume Monday, August 22:

Location
Located in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood, the CCICS Library includes significant holdings in the social sciences and the humanities, particularly as they document, relate, and present the African and African-American experience. Collections include circulating items, selected monographs on reserve, reference and periodical literature.
The Library is located on the 6th and 7th floors of the Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies at 700 East Oakwood Boulevard in Chicago.
