Students currently registered for classes may reserve two-hour blocks to study in the library each day.

During the Spring 2021 semester, the NEIU Libraries will be adjusting services, policies and procedures to meet the requirements of state, city and University COVID-19 phased reopening plans. Not all services that are normally provided will be available during the pandemic period, and the health and safety of library staff and visitors are our primary concern in our operating plan, but we’re still here for you! We’ll be monitoring everything carefully and adjusting when we can. We look forward to introducing additional spaces and services just as soon as conditions allow.

Click & Sit

Designated areas in the Ronald Williams Library are available for use, providing quiet study space with access to Wi-Fi, copiers, black and white and color printers, scanners, and 33 study spaces (eight computers and 25 socially distanced study tables) on the first floor of the Main Library (advance reservation required).

To request a quiet study space, please complete a Main Library Study Space Request Form to reserve a date and time. Only students currently registered for Spring 2021 classes may reserve a two-hour block for use of the library. Please note that there is a maximum limit of 33 students at a time. You’ll need to submit a separate request form for each date/time you want access to a study space, and you will receive a confirmation for each accepted request.

Click & Sit for Spring 2021 begins Monday, Jan. 11.

Grab & Go

NEIU students, faculty and staff are able to request physical materials from Ronald Williams Library and through I-Share and our other interlibrary loan partners, which can be picked up at the entrance of the Library during building hours listed above. For more information on how to request items, please see our Introduction to Research Guide.

The CCICS Library is offering Grab & Go Services from 10 a.m.-noon on Mondays and 2-4 p.m. Thursdays. You may come to the CCICS lobby through the north doors at those times to pick up and drop off library materials.

Grab & Go for Spring 2021 begins Monday, Jan. 4.
