Congratulations, August and December 2020 Graduates!
We are excited to announce that Northeastern Illinois University will honor the August and December 2020 graduates with a series of virtual Commencement ceremonies, providing a fun, innovative and safe platform to celebrate the achievements of our graduates.
We will host three different ceremonies that will each launch concurrently at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13. There will be one ceremony each for the College of Arts and Sciences, the Daniel L. Goodwin College of Education, and the College of Business and Management. (Nontraditional Degree Programs will join the College of Arts and Sciences.) Unfortunately the Academic Honors and Master's Hooding ceremonies are both cancelled.
The Commencement ceremonies will include brief congratulatory remarks as well as an opportunity for each graduate to be recognized as they "walk" across a virtual "stage."
We are so proud of our graduates and look forward to honoring them in this exciting way!
Graduates should pay close attention to their NEIU email accounts and the Commencement website during the coming weeks for more information regarding the virtual ceremony.
