The CCICS Library is closed until further notice, but we are offering Grab & Go Services. NEIU students, faculty and staff are able to request physical materials from NEIU Libraries and through I-Share and our other interlibrary loan partners, which can be picked up from the CCICS lobby from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays and 2-4 p.m. Thursdays. For more information on how to request items, please see our Introduction to Research Guide.

Located in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood, the CCICS Library includes significant holdings in the social sciences and the humanities, particularly as they document, relate, and present the African and African-American experience. Collections include circulating items, selected monographs on reserve, reference and periodical literature.

The Library is located on the 6th and 7th floors of the Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies at 700 East Oakwood Boulevard in Chicago.
