While studying in Northeastern’s College of Business and Management, students are encouraged to work on an internship position that connects academic theories to practices on jobs. As a supervised, practical learning experience, internships allow students to apply their education in a new work setting or on a new project.

Easy Ways to Find an Internship

Students can find an internship in three ways:

  1. Find an internship position via your own network (friends, family members, acquaintances, current/past employer, etc.) and get it approved by the Career Development Center.
  2. Find an internship position through the Career Development Center; set up an account and search internship opportunities at the College Central Network.
  3. Find an internship through online databases or other means, and get it approved by the Career Development Center.

Get Credit for Your Internship

The MNGT 382 - Internship in Business course allows students to register their internship for credit, which will be applied to credit hours earned and reflected on your transcripts. It provides students with an engaged, structured and cohort learning experience.
