Admission to the M.A. in Human Resource Development Program

Students must fulfill the following requirements for admission to the Graduate Program:

  • A demonstrated interest in the Human Resource Development field and/or prior employment in HRD, teaching or a related field.
  • A minimum overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or better*.
  • Two letters of recommendation, which can be from professors, employers, or supervisors, that provide evidence of the applicant's qualifications.

*In some circumstances individuals who fail to satisfy the undergraduate grade point requirement may be allowed to demonstrate their academic ability by completing undergraduate coursework in Human Resource Development prior to admission. The courses to be taken will be determined by the program advisor and will be based on a review of the individual's academic record and related work experience.
