Earn Your Degree at El Centro

Northeastern Illinois University is pleased to offer four undergraduate degree programs at El Centro. Students can focus on two majors from the College of Arts and Sciences: Justice Studies and Social Work, and one from the College of Business and Technology: Computer Science. The Special Education major is through the Daniel L. Goodwin College of Education.

Admission Information

Taking Classes

You can earn your degree in the four majors by taking all of your classes at El Centro or through a combination of classes at the Main Campus and El Centro. Tailor your classes and academic plan to fit your busy schedule – we can help you achieve your degree!

You can also complete Northeastern’s general education requirements at El Centro. We also offer an array of courses in undergraduate and graduate studies from many academic disciplines.

Our Location

El Centro is just three miles south of the Main Campus. We are located at 3390 North Avondale Avenue, right off of Kimball Avenue between Belmont Avenue and Addison Street. Travel to and from locations is convenient via car or public transportation.

Our new location has on-site parking. The contemporary building is equipped with state-of-the-art media and learning technology to enhance your educational experience. Our classrooms and labs are designed to welcome faculty and student interaction to create dynamic coursework and learning.
