DANCE SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION for SPRING 2022
In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, and in accordance with the NEIU restrictions, mid-year Dance Scholarship Auditions for Spring 2022 will take place via virtual submission. We ask that each applicant submit a Scholarship Application and a YouTube audition video three minutes in length. Please send your video link and application to Dance Coordinator Jamie Cage at email@example.com.
The Dance Talent Scholarship Application can be printed, scanned and sent back, or just fill it out on the computer and return with your name typed as the signature. On your video, please state your name and what styles we will see you dance. We recommend demonstrating one to three styles. We understand spaces may be tighter than we wish, yet please make sure the camera angle allows the scholarship committee to see you properly in order to evaluate your dancing and technique.
Tips for a great video: Dress in clothes that allow you to move and allow the committee to see your shapes, make sure your environment is quiet and you can be undisturbed for your recording, and if you are using a phone hold it horizontally. Video and application submission deadline is Oct. 31, 2021.
Please let me know if you have any questions and how I can best help you. We will work together to make things work for you.
Thank you and best of luck!
