The Community Music Program (CMP) at Northeastern Illinois University offers weekly private lessons in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass, guitar and percussion. The CMP instructors include Junior Faculty (NEIU undergraduate and graduate students), Senior Faculty (professionals) and Artist Faculty (NEIU full-time faculty artists or special guest artists). Lessons are offered in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute increments and students sign up for the entire session offered. (Lessons with Artist Faculty may also be taken on a one-by-one basis.) Group lessons are available for some instruments. Please call us if you do not see an offering that meets your needs.

*GROUP PIANO CLASSES
This is a great way to start piano lessons in a class setting that is 20 minutes longer than private lessons at about the same price for the semester.
The Community Music Program is directed by Dr. Susan Tang and enrollment is managed by NEIU's Office of Community and Professional Education (CAPE). If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com or call (773) 442-5080.
