Northeastern Illinois University’s El Centro location is hosting an Open House next week. Prospective students are invited to attend and learn about all the opportunities an NEIU education can provide. Professor Emeritus Henry Durward Hofler dies at 83

Henry Durward Hofler, who taught at Northeastern Illinois University for more than 30 years and helped create the College of Business and Technology’s (CBT) annual student-run International Business Conference, died on Feb. 19, 2022. He was 83 years old.

Noteworthy at Northeastern: Focused on research

Northeastern Illinois University’s Genocide and Human Rights in Africa and the Diaspora (GHRAD) Center will host their 8th annual conference next week, featuring presenters from all around the world. Two professors recently published books, in-person campus tours are back and there’s a new alumni referral program to help students waive their application fee.
