The Division of Marketing and Communications is excited to empower the NEIU community with the tools needed to promote events, lectures, celebrations and important milestones. These assets are created with the intention of allowing you to customize to your needs.
NEIU Templates in Canva
NEIU’s internal community now has access to templates designed by our team for ease in creating materials for event-based or departmental needs. Templates include flyers, posters, program one-pagers, presentations and more. These designs are created in an effort to provide variety and easy access to NEIU branded materials.
Steps to Using Canva
- Log in using approved credentials
- Go to NEIU brand templates (you must be logged in to access approved NEIU templates)
- Choose a template
- Make a copy before editing
- Customize the approved fields
- Download/export

Canva Subscriptions for Colleges and Departments
If you need a Canva Pro account and represent a College or Department at NEIU, contact marketing@neiu.edu. We have a limited number of licenses. It is important to note that licenses will be shared amongst divisions, colleges and departments. This will provide the maximum amount of access for NEIU faculty and staff. In light of this account-sharing direction, please do not delete assets found in the account you are designated to as other users may be using those designs.
Printing Final Products
Most templates can be printed directly through Canva, but users will have the option to download files and print with an external vendor of their choice.
