Important Dates for Fall 2026 Student Teachers and Clinical Experience Candidates

  • Week of May 25, 2026: The CESP Office will begin to release student teaching placement information
  • Sunday, July 12, 2026: Last day to attempt the ILTS Content Test to meet the August 1 deadline for GCOE
  • 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2026:  Mandatory Fall 2026 Student Teaching Orientation
  • Monday, Aug. 24, 2026: Start of Fall 2026 Student Teaching
  • Monday, Dec. 7, 2026: Last day of Fall 2026 Student Teaching and Clinical Experiences 

Important Dates for Spring 2027 Student Teachers and Clinical Experience Candidates

  • 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 24, 2026: Spring 2027 Student Teaching Information Session. The meeting may be joined at Spring 2027 Student Teaching Information Session
  • Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2026: Spring 2027 Student Teaching application and recorded information session becomes available on D2L
  • Friday, Apr. 3, 2026: Spring 2027 Clinical application and recorded information session becomes available on D2L.
  • Monday, Jun. 1, 2026: Spring 2027 Student Teaching applications and Clinical applications due before 11:59 p.m.
