Thank you for your interest in Mindfulness Meditation. Student Counseling Services is currently not offering any sessions but we hope to do so when we are back on campus!
You will learn and practice how to relax your body and calm your mind through:
- Gentle body movement
- Breathing techniques
- Guided meditation
- Silent meditation
Who is eligible?
NEIU faculty, staff and students are all eligible to attend meditation sessions.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Please send an email to email@example.com from your NEIU email address requesting to be added to the list. We will then send you a calendar invite with a link to join the meeting.
Do I need prior meditation experience?
All levels of experience are welcome.
How long does the session last?
Each session lasts about 40-45 minutes.
Do I need to attend every week?
You are welcome to attend a session anytime you would like.
What should I wear?
No special clothing is necessary. Everyday attire is fine as long as it allows you to do gentle stretching exercises.
