Support G&ES through Giving
Alumni and friends of the Department of Geography & Environmental Studies can contribute to the department using the steps below, provided by the NEIU Foundation. Donations to the Department of G&ES will support G&ES students and programs. We have used our foundation funds in the past to support student travel to professional and academic conferences, to purchase needed equipment used in classes, to help bring excellent speakers to campus, and for events such as the G&ES Graduate Awards Ceremony and the Fall Alumni Picnic and Potluck.
Your gift – whatever its size – will be greatly appreciated. It will help inspire and support the next generation of graduates from the Department of Geography & Environmental Studies.

How to Make a Secure online Gift to the G&ES Department:
- Click on the “Donate now” button below.
- Under “Designation,” select “Other” from the drop-down menu.
- Copy and paste “G&ES Fund, 1260” into the “Other Designation” text box. (Note: If you do not include “G&ES Fund, 1260” your donation will not be designated to the Department of G&ES, but will go into a general Northeastern fund.
- If your employer will match donations, be sure to contact your business’ office of Human Resources to supply them with your donation information to double your impact.
