About the Math Lab

The Learning Success Center (LSC) Math Lab offers math tutoring in person or remotely via Nmail. You can get free assistance with your study of Developmental Math (90 Level) and General Education (100 Level) mathematics courses. Tutors can work with students one-on-one and with small groups of students from the same class remotely via Nmail Meet.

Your best resource for success is your classroom instructor. Know their office hours and how you can contact them outside of class. The Math Lab can answer questions and provide feedback for homework. We suggest, before contacting the Math Lab, that you study the examples in the textbook sections and class notes and make note of the homework assigned. Make sure you understand your class notes and attempt your homework before contacting the Lab. Prepare questions for the tutor. After leaving the tutoring session, do a quick review of what you have learned before your next class.
