When does review happen?

Transfer credit is evaluated as part of the admissions review process once your application is complete.

What triggers review?

  • Completed application
  • All required official transcripts

Who processes transfer credit?

The Office of Admissions applies transfer credit using established course equivalencies and university transfer rules.

How are students notified?

Students are notified of their admission decision via their application portal.
Accepted transfer credit is available separately in DegreeWorks through NEIUport.

Timeline

  • Initial review: up to 10 business days after application completion
  • Peak periods: up to 15 business days

Re-evaluation process

Students may request a re-evaluation using the Request for Re-evaluation form.

Re-evaluation timeline

  • Typically 30–45 business days after all materials are received
