Workload: A workload of at least 120 hours of work is required to complete the internship.
Prerequisite: Must be approved by a Program Adviser for having met Academic Department requirements, and must be either 1) Senior standing or 2) Junior standing with a declared major and completion of at least four 300-level courses from the business-core listing.
Assignments:
- Four Journal Reflections: help build connection between academic studies and on-site practices.
- Three Cohort Class Workshops: help students to report and share their experiences as well as learn from their peers.
- Final Presentation and Report: summarize the intern experiences on the scope of the job, the goals, the achievements/learning, and the challenges, etc.
Employer Midterm Feedback and Final Assessment: give guidance, evaluate performance, and point to directions for improvement.
