My sister and brother both attended NEIU before me, and they only had great things to say.
Before attending, I understood that NEIU was an accepting and affordable university with a
range of academic paths to choose from and supportive faculty.

In addition to the knowledge gained in specific academic fields, NEIU has taught me the
nuances of communication, collaboration and ambition. Peer and faculty projects,
micro-internships, tutoring, and Research/Teaching Assistantships have fostered this growth.

For me, the NEIU community is reminiscent of a family - everyone is very welcoming, and you
will feel right at home. NEIU celebrates diversity, but our differences are what bring us closer
together.
