The Beach Means Business

This is not just another stop on the pro beach volleyball tour for Raffe Paulis—it’s in his home city, and only a few miles from where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance at Northeastern.

AACSB Accredited

The College of Business and Technology at Northeastern Illinois University has grown from a few business courses to a separate college that is part of a vibrant, urban university. In 2024 we celebrated our 40th Anniversary as a college at Northeastern.

The College of Business and Technology (CBT) prepares you for a successful career in business, technology, or further study at the graduate level. Currently, the College has three departments: Accounting, Business Law, and Finance; Computer Science; and Marketing and Management. Together they provide about 250 class sections each year in eight different majors, as well as fifteen different minors. We are accredited by AACSB International. We are also pursuing ABET Accreditation for our Computer Science programs.
