Welcome to the Department of Management and Marketing.

The Department of Management and Marketing offers courses in the areas of management, marketing, and entrepreneurship leading to bachelor’s degrees with majors in Management, Marketing, or General Business Administration; minors in Entrepreneurship, International Business, Management and Marketing; and a master’s degree in Business Administration, M.B.A.

The faculty in the Department of Management and Marketing represent diverse business experiences and cultural backgrounds, and are student-centric, highly committed to student engagement and student success.

The curriculum is designed to blend academic knowledge with professional experience to provide students with options to pursue internships, participate in international student exchange programs and study tours, and to work on customized business projects as part of independent study. The curriculum is updated periodically to keep pace with changing technology and pedagogical approaches. The ultimate goal is to prepare graduates for career opportunities in the highly competitive and continuously changing business environment.

Advising

Northeastern’s Academic Advising will help you fulfill general education requirements.

For general Northeastern admission requirements, the Admissions Office helps new and returning students through the process. In addition, the Transfer Center assists transfer and veteran students with transitioning to NEIU.

Student Organizations and Professional Activities

The American Marketing Association (AMA) Student Chapter at NEIU is dedicated to providing a vibrant community for learning, collaborating, and growing for marketing enthusiasts. 

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) student club provides students with opportunities to gain practical knowledge, develop professional skills, and connect with industry leaders in the field of supply chain management.
