The Center of Health at Northeastern Illinois University is proud to offer events throughout the year where students, staff, faculty, and the Chicago Community can earn badges. The virtual badges not only boost your skills, but badges can be displayed to others on your social media, resume and LinkedIn page!
It's not just a badge, it's a resume booster!

How Badges Work
Sign Up for Badge Event Notifications
1. Attend A Badge Challenge Event
Badge challenge events take place throughout the year. If you want to earn badges, the best way is to sign up for notifications by clicking the link below. That way, we will alert you when a new event is taking place.
2. Complete the Registration Form
Sign Up Now for the Latest Badge Event
When filling out the registration form, make sure to provide an email address that you check often. Also, make sure to check that email (and the spam folder) for event and badge information.
3. Check Your Email for the Event Session Link
Most of the Badge Challenge Events are offered online and in person. Each event will have a unique virtual link to attend, therefore previous badge challenge Zoom links will not work.
4. Join the Session
Click the unique link in the pre-session email to join. Remember, to earn credit toward the badge you must follow the outlined rules stated for that challenge. View all past and upcoming badge criteria.
5. Collect Your Badge Credit!
Within 48-72 hours after the challenge event you will receive an additional email from Credly, who issues all of our badges. Follow the prompts and read the supplementary material in the email to collect your badge.
Checking in to a Badge Challenge Event
Some Badge Challenge Events take place over several days and have multiple sessions. To track attendance at these events, they will most likely require for you to check in at the event to verify your attendance. Check-in is done through scanning a QR code.
