Revisiting and Rethinking Genocide and Resistance in Africa and the Diaspora

Organized by the Genocide Research Group, this symposium will look at the role of human rights in fighting genocide, including a panel on local issues being raised by the Black Lives Matter movement.

Our own Professor Teddy Bofman is the recipient of the 2015 Elliott Judd Award for outstanding teaching.  Her hard work, passion for teaching and devotion to her students have brought such an award to her and all of us.  The ceremony will be held at the ITBE Convention in Naperville on February 27.  We hope you can join us there to celebrate this distinguished achievement.
