Northeastern Illinois University will host the DREAMers Resource Conference on the Main Campus in the Student Union building from 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30.

The conference is primarily for undocumented students and their families and will include a college and resource fair as well as the following workshops:

  • The College Application Process for High School DREAMers
  • Strategies to Fund College for Undocumented College Students
  • Healthcare Options for Immigrant Families
  • DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) Information Session

The conference is free, but registration is required.

This event has been organized by Syeda Raza, an E3! (Educate, Engage, and Empower!) ambassador for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, in collaboration with Northeastern Illinois University. For more information, contact sraza3@uic.edu.
