Ensemble Español Center for Spanish Dance and Music, in residence at Northeastern Illinois University, will present its Celebración Rubi 40th Anniversary Gala on March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Venuti’s Banquet Hall, 2251 W. Lake St., in Addison, Ill.
Nearly 300 guests are expected to attend the gala, an annual fundraising event in support of the Ensemble Español’s artistic and educational outreach programming. Attendees will join the dance company for dinner and a four-hour open bar, and will have raffle opportunities.
Gala activities include performances by the Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater, the Youth Company and guest musicians Los Bandoleros.
