U.S. Department of Education Grants Initiatives
At NEIU, your goals are within reach—and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Through our grant-funded programs, students gain access to meaningful opportunities that make education more affordable, practical, and career-ready.
With generous funding from the U.S. Department of Education, Northeastern is paving ways for students to receive the support they need to make their dreams into a reality. Visit the IMPACTOS and SPEED grant pages to see how students and other members of the Northeastern community can get involved!
NOTE: The U.S. Department of Education has sent notice that funding for IMPACTOS and SPEED will be discontinued as of September 30th, 2026. Limited programming for Summer 2026 is expected and will be announced in late Spring.
