Director of Operations

My career path is not as linear as most people, I spent my 20's playing in noise assault punk bands until I received my BA in Sociology from NEIU in 2014 and my Masters in Public Administration from DePaul in 2018. My Sociology degree has helped me better understand the reasons for social differences, differences in social behavior, the differentials in group opportunities and outcomes, and the relevance of social hierarchies and social power in everyday life. The education at NEIU helped lay a solid foundation for me to excel and become an accomplished leader and entrepreneur in technology, policy, political, communication, and research fields.

I've been a community organizer (focusing on environmental rights and tenant rights); a lobbyist for Mercedes Benz's and Airbnb (helping pass positive legislation and helping each company earn tens of millions of dollars); I built an innovative app utilizing AI that provides valuable insights via computational analysis; and I've published several peer reviewed academic journal articles that have been cited by researchers in 30 countries on 5 continents. Most recently I've been the Director of Operations and Strategy at a world renowned UChicago research lab that is developing the “Bionic Breast” (an implantable, neuroprosthetic device to restore sensation and reduce pain post-mastectomy).
