POSITION:

The ACS-Certified Department of Chemistry at NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY is seeking candidates for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of polymer chemistry, effective August, 2016. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Ph.D. in Chemistry, or related field, is required and post-doctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching while working with a diverse student population.  The new faculty member will be expected to teach courses at all levels of the program, conduct research at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participate in service activities within the department, college, and the university at large.
