TEDxNEIU

The Office of Student Leadership Development is excited to host its 2nd Annual TEDxNEIU on October 9, 2015! Last year, NEIU featured 8 incredible speakers who shared their knowledge, expertise, and personal stories that enlightened and inspired all attendees. We are looking forward to doing the same this year!

We are now accepting presentation topics for this highly anticipated event!

If you embrace public speaking and have a unique idea for a topic you believe would make for an amazing talk, we ask that you submit your idea following the link below. We are looking for topics that will teach attendees something new, something different, and broaden their perspective.

If you have an idea for a ‘talk’ we encourage you to submit your application by the June 26, 2015 deadline.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and outside constituents should submit their ideas here:

TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
