Northeastern Illinois University President Gloria J. Gibson announced on Aug. 31 that the University has created a Vaccine Incentive Program (VIP) for employees and students.

Northeastern to offer tuition and fee waivers for Afghan refugees for the 2021-2022 academic year

Northeastern Illinois University will offer qualified Afghan refugees who settle in Chicago or nearby areas the opportunity to attend Northeastern through University-sponsored discretionary waivers that will cover the cost of tuition and fees for 12 credit hours in the current academic year. The initiative will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 15 continuing and prospective students.
