The Student Advisory Council of the College of Business and Management will host Student Success Week on the Main Campus at Northeastern Illinois University from Feb. 1-5.
Here are the planned events:
Feb. 3 at 4 p.m. in Alumni Hall North: Dress for Success Fashion Show
Learn the difference between business casual, business formal and black tie, and how to dress appropriately for each. Free and open to the public.
Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall: Kunal Mehta
Mehta has spoken at universities such as Harvard, Stanford and Yale. After a career on Wall Street, Mehta went on to work for Charity: Water, which provides clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Free and open to the public.
Feb. 5, 5:30-10 p.m. in Alumni Hall: 23rd Annual Etiquette Gala
Enjoy a four-course dinner and improve your business etiquette and table manners in preparation for advanced job interviews and social occasions. Program includes etiquette instruction, silent auction and raffle, student awards ceremony and music and entertainment. Tickets are limited; register by Jan. 29.
