Northeastern Illinois University will offer three new minors beginning in the fall 2015 semester.

The College of Arts and Sciences will offer minors in Geographic Information Science and Mathematical and Statistical Modeling of Complex Systems, and the College of Business and Management will offer a minor in Entrepreneurship.

“As an institution whose mission is to provide an exceptional environment for learning, teaching and scholarship, Northeastern is pleased to offer new and exciting areas of study that will better prepare our students for their careers,” Provost Richard J. Helldobler said.

As previously announced, Northeastern also will offer a new Environmental Science undergraduate degree program and a graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages starting in the fall of 2015.
