Northeastern Illinois University will host the eighth annual NETT Day on Nov. 15 at various locations on the Main Campus.

Established in 2010, NETT Day at Northeastern Illinois University is an event that celebrates technology, the way in which we interact with it and how we use it to improve society.

The day’s schedule includes keynote speeches from QuaraCORE Creative Director and President Randi Brill, and Bain & Company partner Eric Garton. Several workshops are planned throughout the day. Topics include music therapy, data science and classroom technology.

Brill, motivational speaker and author of  “99 Creative WOWS – Words of Wisdom,” will deliver the 10:30 a.m. keynote address titled “Creative WOWs for Business” in Alumni Hall.

Garton, author of “Time, Talent, Energy,” will share his views on the skills needed for entrepreneurs of the future during the 7 p.m. keynote address in LWH 1002.

NETT Day is free and open to the public. Parking permits are required to park in the Main Campus parking lots.
