Ensemble Espanol to participate in Chicago Artists Month

Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater, a company that is in residence at Northeastern Illinois University, will participate in this year’s Chicago Artists Month programming with four events.

Ensemble Espanol will present two open rehearsals for the general public and two performances of “Tales of Spain” for school-age children. All performances will take place at Northeastern Illinois University, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago.

Here are the planned events:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 8: “Tales of Spain” open rehearsal (free), 6:30-8 p.m., Auditorium
  • Thursday, Oct. 9: “Tales of Spain” performance ($5-$6), 10:15-11:15 a.m., Auditorium
  • Friday, Oct. 10: “Tales of Spain” performance ($5-$6), 10:15-11:15 a.m., Auditorium
  • Thursday Oct. 16: Youth company open rehearsal (free), 6-7:30 p.m., J Building
