Northeastern Illinois University El Centro will host a free Community Day on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The facility is located at 3390 N. Avondale Ave.
Highlights of the day include exhibits, gardening workshops, health information sessions and access to support services to help families. The day also features plenty of activities for the kids such as face painting, a bounce house and a magic show.
