Give to El Centro

Your Gift. Their Opportunity.

At Northeastern Illinois University El Centro, we are committed to expanding educational opportunity, strengthening student success, and connecting students with the resources they need to thrive. Financial hardship should not stand between a student and their degree. Your generosity can make a difference today while creating opportunities for tomorrow. Choose how you would like to support El Centro students.

Two Ways to Make a Difference:

Help Students Now | El Centro General Fund

An unexpected expense can disrupt a student’s education. Gifts to the El Centro General Fund provide flexible support for approved needs that may not be covered through traditional University or state funding. Our fundraising priority is to help students navigate urgent financial barriers and continue progressing toward graduation. Depending on eligibility, available resources, and University and Foundation approvals, this fund may support emergency student assistance, student success initiatives, and other mission-aligned expenses. Your gift helps El Centro respond to immediate and emerging needs.

Invest in Future Scholarships | El Centro Scholarship Endowment

A scholarship can open doors to opportunity. Gifts to the El Centro Scholarship Endowment strengthen a lasting source of financial support for eligible El Centro students. The endowment currently provides approximately $5,000 annually in scholarship funding. Endowment contributions are invested for the long term. The principal is intended to remain invested, while authorized annual distributions support scholarships under the fund agreement and Foundation policies. As the endowment grows, its potential to support more students or larger scholarships can grow as well, subject to investment results and spending policies. Your gift helps build a scholarship legacy that can benefit students for generations.

Every Gift Supports Student Opportunity

Whether you choose immediate student support or long-term scholarships, your generosity helps El Centro advance educational opportunity and student success. Thank you for investing in our students and their futures.
