These events aim to provide students as well as faculty and staff different opportunities to be active, get involved, and learn more about our programs. Rec Kickoff
Come experience all that Campus Recreation has to offer! Rec Kickoff is our annual showcase event that takes place during NEIU's Week of Welcome every Fall semester. There will be group fitness classes, sport club info tables, outdoor games, adventure demos, and much more!
La Copa Tournament
Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) holds its annual La Copa Soccer Tournament every Fall as part of the Homecoming weekend hosted in September.
Rec Recess
Rec Recess at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) is a Campus Recreation event series designed to give students a fun break during the week with casual games, activities, and social interaction.
Recreational Sports & Fitness Day
Every year, on the day commemorating of NIRSA's founding - February 22, 1950 - we join other universities across North America to celebrate health, activity, competition, and inclusivity.
