Northeastern Illinois University has earned Quality Matters (QM) Certification for course design quality following a rigorous review process for nine of its online courses. The QM Certification Mark is the internationally recognized symbol of online and blended course design quality and represents Northeastern's ongoing commitment to creating learning environments that provide students with a clear pathway to success.

The Northeastern Illinois University Board of Trustees has rescheduled its February 2014 Board meeting. The February 2014 meeting will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2014, in the Golden Eagles room located at Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave. in Chicago. Committee meetings will begin at 12:45 p.m. followed by the Board meeting at 1:30 p.m.

The NEIU Alumni Association celebrated alums and current students at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on Oct. 15.
