Artificial Intelligence, B.S.

The B.S. in Artificial Intelligence equips undergraduate students with the programming expertise, algorithmic rigor and applied‐AI knowledge needed to design, implement and evaluate intelligent systems. Core coursework builds mastery of Python, data structures and asymptotic analysis before moving into symbolic reasoning, machine-learning paradigms, probabilistic inference and large-scale data engineering.

Students gain hands-on experience with natural-language processing and generative models while practicing modular software engineering, version control and collaborative debugging. Throughout the curriculum, ethical and responsible AI development—bias detection, fairness, transparency and societal impact—is emphasized, supported by inclusive teaching practices and adaptive learning resources that welcome diverse learners.
