Learn, Do, Secure
Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) adopts strategies that leverage challenges and opportunities, best practices, and tools to ensure its information technology resources and supporting infrastructure remain secure and continue to operate efficiently to support teaching, learning, research, and administrative operations.
Information security at NEIU is the responsibility of students, faculty, staff, and all other members of its community. The information security webpages provide various resources on how NEIU protects its information technology resources and how we can use these resources to protect our information both at work and at home.
This is where we learn, we do, and keep NEIU secure.
Here, you will find policies and supplementary documents that set out the direction, expectations, and guidelines for practicing and promoting information security at NEIU. Learn more about the Information Technology policies.
New policies will be provided as required and existing policies will be reviewed periodically to remain relevant. NEIU community members are to familiarize themselves with these policies and comply with them to keep NEIU secure and to maintain compliance with related legislation.
