Learn, Do, Secure
Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) adopts strategies that leverage challenges and opportunities, best practices, and tools to safeguard its data, Information Technology Resources (ITR), and supporting infrastructure so that they operate efficiently to enable the University to meet its strategic objectives.
Information security at NEIU is the responsibility of students, faculty, staff, and all other members of its community. The information security webpages provide learning and awareness resources on how NEIU protects its data and ITR and how we can use these resources to protect ourselves and keep NEIU safer.
This is where we learn, we do, and keep NEIU secure.
Here, you will find policies and supplementary documents that set out the direction, expectations, and guidelines for practicing and promoting information security at NEIU. Learn more about the University's Information Technology Policies.
New policies will be established as required and existing policies will be reviewed periodically to remain relevant. NEIU community members are to familiarize themselves with these policies to comply with them and the associated legislation.
