Biography
At NEIU El Centro since 2014, I serve as an Office Operations Specialist, bringing knowledge in financial aid, advising, admissions, and recruitment to support students in reaching their highest potential. As a first-generation college student and daughter of immigrant parents from Guerrero, Mexico, I balance my career and life as a mother of two while remaining deeply committed to fostering access, opportunity, and success in higher education.

Background
Cynthia is a first-generation college graduate and former Chicago Public Schools student. She aspires to become an administrator in higher education to directly assist and advocate for students. In her current role she assists students with any questions and requests; she is responsible for providing the best customer service at the El Centro's front desk. In her downtime she enjoys Pinterest and spending time with her son.
