Northeastern Illinois University has concluded its Vaccine Incentive Program (VIP). As of Dec. 8, 89% of enrolled students and 98% of active employees at Northeastern are vaccinated against COVID-19.

At Northeastern Illinois University, we break barriers. Our latest initiative, NEIU For You, breaks a financial barrier by offering first-year, full-time undergraduate students a scholarship to cover tuition and mandatory fees for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022! It also covers the cost of a three credit hour course for all new undergraduate transfer students who register for six credit hours or more for Fall 2021. Four Northeastern Illinois University students, under the direction of three professors and in partnership with the EPA and the Student Center for Science Engagement, spent 10 weeks of the summer studying the impacts of air pollution.
