The brass memorial tree is shown mounted to a brick wall.

The Northeastern Illinois University Memorial Tree provides an opportunity for the University community to pay respects to deceased loved ones who had a connection to Northeastern while supporting the NEIU Foundation's General Scholarship Fund for students.

The bronze and acrylic tree is located in the Reading Room of the Student Union on the Main Campus for all to visit and admire.

For your $50 gift, you may purchase a leaf on the Memorial Tree and have it etched with the name of a loved one. The contribution covers the cost of the leaf and engraving and contributes to the University’s General Scholarship Fund.

Please note: Engraving is limited to four lines of text and 23 characters per line.

The General Scholarship Fund allows many Northeastern students the opportunity to receive scholarship dollars that have a great impact on their educational journeys.

Fill out the information below to start your memorial, and thank you for honoring your loved one and supporting student scholarships.
