
Teaching English Speakers Of Other Languages Endorsement
The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program offers graduate courses that can be taken by individuals who are already state-licensed teachers who wish to qualify for the State of Illinois endorsement to teach English as a Second Language (ESL). For undergraduate students who are working toward a state certification and would like to simultaneously complete coursework leading to the endorsement at the undergraduate level, please refer to the minor in TESOL.
Credit hours required: 18 (and 100 clock hours of clinical experience)

The program admits students for the fall, spring and summer semesters.
