Mimi connects students with the academic support they need to succeed in college. To better assist and understand students’ struggles in the classroom, Mimi returned to NEIU to study Trigonometry, Calculus and Introduction to Advanced Mathematics.

Background
Before becoming Coordinator, Mimi volunteered as a Math Peer Leader for Northeastern's Math Enrichment Workshop Program. During summers at El Centro, she creates interactive workshops for students enrolled in the Summer Bridge Program, focusing on team-building and college transition. She enjoys interviewing students, learning about their amazing accomplishments, and editing their success stories for the El Centro Newsletter.
