Background
Attended NEIU as an undergraduate and played 4 years Varsity Volleyball. After working in the health and fitness industry, I came back to NEIU and worked in the Human Performance Laboratory as a graduate fellow earning a Master degree in Exercise Science from and an MBA from NEIU. Went on to receive a BSN in Nursing from Aurora University and a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from Rush University. Presently, I am the Associate VP of Nursing and Director of Cardiovascular Services at Swedish Covenant Hospital.
