At Northeastern Illinois University, you can pursue your bachelor’s degree without sacrificing your current job or family responsibilities. Here, you’ll have the flexibility to tackle your education on your own terms.
Why Northeastern?
We offer flexibility
Our ambitious students are driven to advance their careers and achieve better financial stability. However, a traditional college format can make this difficult to accomplish. That’s why our different program formats and generous transfer policies have been set up to allow students to fast-track their degree.
Earn a degree with options
Students can earn their B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies on a full- or part-time basis with classes offered on campus during the day, evenings, and on weekends. Online options are also available. You can pursue one of seven concentration areas within this major to further customize your degree. These include: Fine Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Leadership, Community Development and Multicultural Studies, and Professional Studies.
Get credit for your work
NEIU also offers a University Without Walls (UWW) degree completion program for adult students who already have some college-level training under their belt. By working with an academic advisor, you can be in the driver’s seat as you create your own program of study which will result in a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Some areas that past students have pursued include Administration, Business, Education, Law Enforcement, and Health and Social Services.
You’re motivated and determined to further your education and better yourself, so why wait?
It’s time to invest in your future.
