Mr. Tapia is a double alumnus, he received his B.A. in History from NEIU in 2004 and an M.A. in Educational Leadership: Higher Education Leadership in 2011.

Mr. Tapia is pursuing an Ed.D in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership with a concentration in Global Studies from the University of Illinois.

Background

Mr. Tapia's work concentration is with student data collection and reporting; internal and external program and student communications; student orientation; and liaison between departments in the Goodwin College of Education and other programs at NEIU.

Academically, Mr. Tapia's areas of interest are Comparative Higher Education and Social Justice.
