Visitor Services

Illinois Regional Archival Depository (IRAD)

IRAD holds primary source documents on Chicago municipal government as well as genealogical information for Cook County. Located on the Lower Level of the Library. Contact (773) 442-4506 or ext. 4506 with questions.

School group visits

Teachers of K-12 classes are welcome to bring students to the Library. For a guided tour, please contact us in advance with the date and time of your visit, the size of your group, and the topics of students' research projects.

Students andĀ Faculty from Other Universities

I-Share members

Check to see if your college or university is a member of I-Share. If so, you may borrow books and other materials from the NEIU Library by presenting your school ID card.

Members of other, non-I-Share universities

Students and faculty who are not affiliated with an I-Share college or university are encouraged to visit the NEIU Library.
