ADVANCED WORKSHOP – CONNECTING WITH COLLEAGUES ON TEACHING WRITING

Instructor: Jan Booth

As educators, we seek to deepen students’ growth and engagement in writing. We also seek a voice in fostering connection and collaboration among colleagues. This advanced workshop helps teachers connect as writers, teachers of writers, professional mentors, and active members of their educational community. Participants are educators who have either studied the teaching of writing in a course or workshop or otherwise advanced their knowledge of this work.

Fee waived through a generous grant from the Oppenheimer Family Foundation. In addition, the grant provides a small stipend for Chicago teachers.
