Admissions and Records Representative

Enrollment Services –Registrar’s Office

Qualifications:

  • High School graduation or equivalent
  • Three years of work experience involving collegiate admissions, records analysis work or records management, or
  • 120 semester credit hours or a Bachelor’s degree, or
  • A combination of work experience and education that totals three years

(Each position requires a background check.)

Salary:

$15.50 per hour

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Some occasional Saturdays

(Hours may vary depending on the academic calendar or upcoming holidays.)

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar, this position performs a wide variety of detailed tasks in the Registration Office and at the Enrollment Services front counter which require the use of judgment and initiative, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable state/federal laws.  The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of Enrollment Services, along with having a good understanding of the entire University.  This knowledge is utilized on a daily basis when communicating with prospective, current, and former students; faculty; and staff.  Must be customer service-focused, comfortable with technology, and proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word and Excel).  

Under the direction of the Associate Registrar, this position assists with the processing of official transcript requests in the Records Office.  Assists with the daily updating of the student record file contained on microfilm.
